McRae Family Dental 50th Anniversary Gala

An extravagant black tie gala, the McRae Family is celebrating 50 years of hard work and dedication in the dental industry. Dating back to the grand opening in 1973, the vision started with a dream and a degree. Dr. Matthew McRae and wife Barbara poured their heart and soul into beginning what is deemed today to be a legacy. With a steadfast mission for education and business, we recognize the McRae’s for all of their prestigious accomplishments ranging from within our local Athens Community to communities worldwide.

In the spirit of developing the next generation of dental professionals, the McRae Family co-founded the McRae-Orrington Dental Scholarship at Medical College of Georgia Dental School. Net proceeds from the purchase of gala tickets will go towards the McRae Family Scholarship at Fort Valley State University and the Dr. Matthew McRae Jr. (Human Relations Award) Scholarship.
