The BlackPrint is a living blueprint created by the Minority Business and Nonprofit Association (MBNA) to strengthen and sustain the Black community through accountability, collaboration, and measurable action. It aligns Black-led businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders around one shared vision: building a Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise Black community—starting in Athens-Clarke County and scaling across Northeast Georgia.

The BlackPrint is a living framework and accountability initiative led by the Minority Business and Nonprofit Association (MBNA). It aligns Black-led businesses, nonprofits, faith-based institutions, and community leaders around shared goals to build a Healthy, Wealthy, and Wise Black community through measurable strategies and collaboration.

Establishes measurable goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Encourages collaboration instead of duplication among organizations
Serves as a report-card style accountability tool for progress
Amplifies community voice and informs policymakers and funders

The BlackPrint does not directly fund individuals
It is not a grant guarantee or funding distribution program
It does not replace an organization’s mission, autonomy, or leadership
It does not endorse political parties or candidates

Participation is open to:
Black-led organizations (defined as 51% or more Black leadership at the board or executive level)
Black-owned businesses
Faith-based and grassroots organizations
Community partners and aligned allies committed to equity and accountability

Organizations are expected to:
Align efforts with at least one BlackPrint pillar (Healthy, Wealthy, or Wise)
Commit to transparency and measurable outcomes
Participate in data sharing, evaluation, and periodic reporting
Engage in collaboration and shared learning opportunities

Participation in The BlackPrint does not guarantee funding
Funding opportunities, when available, are subject to eligibility, availability, and separate application processes
MBNA may pursue grants, sponsorships, or public funding to support aligned initiatives
Any funds administered by MBNA follow applicable compliance, reporting, and fiscal oversight requirements

No. The BlackPrint is a living document, updated regularly to reflect community input, changing conditions, and measurable progress.

Progress is tracked using community-defined KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards. Results may be shared publicly to promote transparency, learning, and accountability.

No. Participation is voluntary and non-binding. Organizations may engage at different levels and can adjust or discontinue participation at any time.
